Delegates of the Azimio La Umoja movement have on Saturday, March 12, 2022 unanimously nominated ODM leader Raila Odinga as the coalition's presidential candidate in the August 9 General Election.
The delegates nominated Raila during the Azimio La Umoja National Delegates Conference that was convened at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Nairobi.
OKA principal Kalonzo Musyoka and his Wiper party delegates also ratified the agreement that endorsed the ODM leader as the coalition's presidential candidate. President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Jubilee party delegates were also in attendance.
