Kakamega Law Courts Chief Magistrate Bildad Ochieng is receiving treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu after he was involved in a road accident on Thursday, February 11.

Ochieng, who was driving past the Kakamega County offices, lost control of his car and hit roundabout pavement after he reportedly suffered a diabetic attack while at the wheel. The incident happed at 2pm.

Kakamega Central OCPD David Kabena told K24 Digital that Ochieng, who sustained head injuries, was rushed to Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu, where he is receiving treatment.

“It was a terrible accident, but the magistrate is in stable condition, as per the doctor’s report,” said Kabena.
