Suna East Member of Parliament (MP) Junet Mohamed has introduced a section of elected leaders in the first Azimio meeting held at KICC, Nairobi.

Junet mentioned a few of the leaders who managed to defeat political giants associated with the Kenya Kwanza coalition.

On the list is Mrembo Irene Njoki who defeated vocal United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate Kimani Ngunjiri to clinch Bahati parliamentary seat.

Junet lauds Njoki

"Njoki Mrembo defeated Ngunjiri an old man who has been making a lot of noise. He can now make noise outside parliament," Junet said.

Junet has given leaders representing different regions to talk in the meeting that is currently ongoing.

He successfully defended his Suna East parliamentary seat.

Some 151 legislators have so far been elected under Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition.

Present at KICC are Azimio presidential running mate Martha Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka who is the coalition's Chief Minister designate.
