Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa with her co-accused, her bodyguard Geoffrey Otieno, will appear in court on February 2, 2021, for the first hearing of their murder case.
Senior state counsel Alloys Kemo said he has lined up 30 witnesses to testify against Jumwa and her bodyguard.
Justice Ann Ong'injo said that four witnesses will testify on the first hearing date.

He ordered the state lawyer to share his witness list with Jumwa's defence attorney, Gerald Magolo.
The case will be heard in phase, with the first hearing scheduled for three consecutive days beginning on February 2.
The second phase will be determined on February 4.
Jumwa and Otieno are linked to the death of Ngumbao Jola, a 48-year-old-man, who was murdered in the chaos that ensued during campaigns for a by-election in Ganda Ward in Malindi on October 15, 2019.
The two suspects were granted bond with Jumwa having been released on Sh4 million cash bail or Sh3 million bond while her bodyguard was given Sh1 million cash bail or Sh1.5 million bond.
