Jubilee Party has unveiled its new leadership in the National Assembly following a Parliamentary Group meeting chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday.

In the new changes, Navakholo MP Emmanuel Wangwe replaced Benjamin Washiali as Majority Chief Whip.

Igembe North MP, Maoka Maore, replaced Cecily Mbarire as Deputy Chief Whip.

Garissa Town MP, Aden Duale, who was expected to be ejected as the National Assembly Majority Leader survived in the purge that has seen key allies of Deputy President William Ruto lose seats in House leadership.

Kuresoi North Moses Cheboi also retained his seat as the National Assembly Deputy Speaker.

The committee leadership remained intact but the new Whip has been ordered to reconstitute all teams by June 9.
