ODM Presidential aspirant Jimi Wajingi has expressed his bitterness towards Uhuru and Raila's handshake.

Speaking to the media after Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi released him unconditionally, the ODM presidential aspirant claimed that Raila betrayed the people who supported him and swore him in as the people's president in 2017.

Wanjigi claimed that in 2018, his friend Raila Odinga went and had a handshake with the 'master' who has been harassing him, adding that the Azimio leader went on with the handshake without involving the generals who fought for him in 2017.

"There is Miguna Miguna whose crime was swearing in Raila Odinga , his own sister Ruth Odinga is still fighting incitement charges in court  and there is TJ Kajwang whose only crime was wearing a wig at the mock swearing-in ceremony at Uhuru park. He was left alone to fight for his freedom it was only the other day that the court said he has no case to answer," he lamented.

Wajingi further claimed that his tribulations began in 2017 and that Kinoti is being used by his masters to frustrate him since then.

"Kinoti's masters sent him in 2017 to harass my family after they claimed I wanted to overthrow the government after the elections were nullified by the supreme court," he added

The presidential aspirant who was accompanied by his lawyer Willis Otieno , ODM MP aspirant Steve Mbogo and MP Dan Maanzo claimed that in 2017 the DCI officer harassed his 80-year-old father and also put up an obituary on a newspaper claiming he was dead just because he stood by his friend Raila Odinga.

Wanjigi, who is facing Ksh 56m land fraud charges asserted that Raila is a betrayer and that his Azimio is for betrayal and not for unity.

He however thanked Kamukunji police station for fair treatment since his arrest revealing that he got a few hours of sleep at the station.

"For the first time in my life I was a state guest of the police at night, I  have never been arrested before, I want to tell my supporters that I was treated very well at Kamukunji police station, I got few hours of sleep and I want to thank them," Wajingi said
