There was a tense moment at Kiegoi market in Meru County when a man hanged on Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya's helicopter shortly after it took off.
In a video circulating online, a man is seen hanging comfortably on the chopper while waving to a cheering crowd.
It took the pilot 50 seconds to allow the man to disengage from the chopper.
The pilot is seen peeping through the window as if to confirm if the man had jumped to the ground.

Seconds later, the pilot lowered the chopper, and members of the public held the man and pulled him down.
There was a brief commotion as people tried to beat him up.
"Wachana na yeye! Wachana na yeye! Wachana na yeye (Leave him alone! Leave him alone! Leave him alone!)," a man's voice is heard in the video as members of the public tried to administer mob justice on the man.
The chopper later flew without any hitches.
The CS had just finished addressing the residents of Meru at Kiegoi market when the incident happened.
He was in the county to popularise Raila Odinga's bid for the presidency.
