Langata parliamentary aspirant Felix Odiwuor alias Jalango has urged his two employees, who are on the run, after stealing money from him to surrender.

Speaking during an interview with Milele FM on Friday, June 10, 2020, the former radio host promised to reinstate the duo.

He said he is willing to forgive his famous groundsmen Eli Omundu and Morrison Litiema without any conditions.

“I want them to come forward. They will continue with their work. Let them just come back because it was not in their character,” Jalang’o said.

According to the comedian-turned politician, he is yet to come to terms that the two actually stole from him as it was 'not their character'. He said it could have been a mistake.

Jalang'o claims the two stole over Ksh1 million from his car.

Apparently, the groundsmen stole the money while washing the car in the wee hours of Saturday morning, June 4.

They then disappeared without a word.

“I did not realize that they had stolen the money for almost three hours until we realized that they were not around,” Jalang’o added.

He termed the employees' actions as the greatest form of betrayal.

Jalango's Ksh100,000 reward

Last week, he offered Ksh100,000 for information that could lead to their arrest.

"Eli and Litiema are on the run, this morning they stole money from the car they were washing at home, their phones are off and they are running with their families. If you see them please report at the nearest police station A reward of 100k for any information leading to their arrest," Jalango said in a post.

Eli and Litiema have been Jalango's employees for years. The duo, who have over time rode on the fame of their boss to create a brand for themselves, landed job opportunities at Jalango's home when they were ardent fans of a radio show that he hosted alongside renowned presenter Alex Mwakideu.
