After a week of fame and attracting International attention a family of a man who is said to have become a father of decuplets has finally come out to rubbish off the claims.
In a statement sent to media houses, the family said that it was yet to see any of the said children who belong to Gosiame Sithole and Tebogo Tsotetsi.
Last week on Friday, K24 Digital reported that the couple broke the World Genius record after the lady gave birth to ten children at a private hospital in Pretoria South Africa.
However, it has emerged that the Gauteng Health Department was unable to find any record of the births.
Tsotetsi family in the statement said that he had already confirmed to them that he had not seen the babies.
“He has confirmed that he has not seen the decuplets and only relied on his girlfriend who called to inform him of the births,” read part of the statement.
It further revealed that he made several attempts to visit his girlfriend and the babies but the lady failed to disclose her whereabouts and the condition of the babies.
According to the family, the fact that the whereabouts of the lady was unknown was not only confusing but also very worrying.
“The current uncertainties and public discourse about the decuplets are of major concern to the family, especially in the absence of any proof of the decuplets existence other than telephonic and WhatsApp messages from the mother,” the statement read.
It further concluded that the family had resolved that there are no decuplets born between the couple until proven otherwise and wishes to apologise for any inconvenience and embarrassment.
The family further asked members of the public to seize sending any contributions to the family in relation to the said birth.
According to them they had now embarked in searching for the lady before they can give an update of what was going on.
If indeed the couple gave birth to decuplets then it means that they hold the World Genius record which was being held by Nadya Suleiman who gave birth to eight babies years ago.
