Roots party presidential running mate Justina Wamae has said she will not honour the summon by Roots party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah.

Wamae was summoned for disciplinary action by the party over what they termed as misrepresentation of the party's position.

In a notice shared via his official social media, Wajackoyah accused Wamae of making berating and contradictory statements on both social and mainstream media.

"The party would like to address you that you have continuously and maliciously misrepresented the position of the party and that of the party leader having blocked him and other party officials.

"That you have in your utterances contradicted yourself on Citizen Digital and the KTN and recounted the contradiction hence your allegiance to the party manifesto is questionable," the statement read in part.

Wajackoyah also claimed that he offered Wamae accommodation and the official party vehicle during the campaign period.

"Due to your continuous misrepresentation of the Party’s stand, the Party has suffered public ridicule and disrepute… It is in our knowledge that you have continuously disassociated yourself with the Party and its ideologies.

In a subsequent rejoinder, Wamae dismissed the claims affirming that she will soldier on.

"I will not respond to pettiness. But on the non-existent accommodation and car, you imagined you 'assisted' me, you can withdraw in your dreams. It is your party, do what you deem fit, I will soldier on. #justinawamae,"she wrote.
