Firebrand lawyer Miguna Miguna has maintained that the government must adhere to the latter with the court order that directed that he be furnished with all requisite travelling documents.

While dismissing the latest move by Interior CS Fred Matiang'i and Solicitor General Ken Ogeto, Miguna stated that the government is baiting him by compelling him to fill some forms in a bid to regain his 'citizenship', that he posits he never lost.

"What Fred Matiangi and Karanja Kibicho, Ken Ogeto and Co. want me to do is "fill forms to regain citizenship," which I NEVER LOST. Those shouting about "fill forms" are either genuinely ignorant, or maliciously driven. Court orders must be obeyed. Period," he said.

The Interior ministry had directed immigration officials at Kenyan embassies in Berlin (Germany) and Ottawa (Canada) to issue him with travel documents.

The Solicitor-General had stated in a letter sent to Miguna's lawyer, Nelson Havi, that he had advised the relevant ministries to comply with the court orders and allow Miguna back home.
