Ministry of Public Service and Gender Cabinet Administrative Secretary (CAS) Rachael Shebesh has opened up on interesting things about her journey with her husband Frank Shebesh.
In an interview with Churchill Show host Daniel Ndambuki, alias Churchill, the former Nairobi Woman rep revealed that she first got pregnant immediately after her secondary education, aged 19 years then.
Her hubby was responsible for the pregnancy.
At that time, she says her husband had just landed his first job and at no time did he try to shortchange her adding that they have remained together to date.
“After form four I got pregnant immediately. I decided to take care of my child because I had no worries. My hubby then had just finished university and had just got his first job. We have been together throughout since that time,” Shebesh said.
On the reaction by her parents, Shebesh noted that the matter wasn't a big deal to them and they embraced it positively.
Shebesh, who is a fashion designer by profession, said she took care of her child and later continued with her studies.
“My father is a very excited person but my mum is strict. I did not even tell her, she just noticed and called me and told me my daughter you are pregnant. They were all excited because I had finished school,” she added.
Shebesh and her husband have three children. The oldest is a 32-years-old man and is currently involved in the business.
Her last born is 22-year-old and plays football for Homeboyz Football Club.
