“I have decided to take a break after October In Sha Allah to concentrate on other matters. Loved the fans, the critics and everything in between. See you soon,” he said.

Hussein, in his decade-long career at Citizen TV, has hosted a number of high-profile interviewees, including Deputy President William Ruto, ODM leader Raila Odinga, among others.

Hussein began his career at the Maalim Juma-based broadcaster as a political reporter, and rose through the ranks to the position of senior news anchor.
