Plainclothes officers posing as friend lured Silvanus Osoro into trap

South Mugirango MP Silvanus Osoro was lured by plainclothes police officers posing as his friends only to be arrested and whisked to Keroka Police Station for questioning.

Earlier on Monday morning, February 15, Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi was also arrested at Kisii High School where he was waiting to receive Deputy President (DP) William Ruto.

The duo, who are DP Ruto pointmen in Kisii County are suspected to be planning to cause chaos at the funeral service of Simeon Nyachae.

The funeral program is underway at Gusii Stadium.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, his Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga are in attendance.

Other prominent leaders in attendance are Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Gideon Moi (Kanu).
