Residents of Pakawa, Pipeline in Nakuru County are in shock after a mutilated body of a young woman was found in her house on Wedneday.

Ms Agnes Muthoni, who is the caretaker of the plot where the deceased lived, said that the young women, identified as Mebo Ayuma, cohabited with her boyfriend, Alex Likodo.

On Sunday, Ms Muthoni said the two lovers had quarreled on Sunday after Ayuma slept out. It was the last time the caretaker recalled seeing Ayuma.

Ayuma’s mother, Ruth Anyenda, said that she decided to travel from Molo to check on her daughter after several missed calls.

On arrival, she said she found the house locked and immediately reported to the Pakawa Police Station where officers allowed to gain access through the window.

Upon opening the curtain of the house, Anyenda was met by a foul smell and the horrible scene of her daughter lying on the bed with visible marks on the face and neck.

The teary mother revealed to K24 Digital that her daughter’s boyfriend went home on Tuesday and committed suicide in a forest in Elburgon. His suicide raised the red flag since Ayuma had not been picking her calls.

Ayuma’s body was taken to Nakuru Municipal Mortuary as police investigate the incident.
