Immediate former Kirinyaga Woman Representative Wangui Ngirici is among thousands of Kenyans who attended William Ruto’s inauguration to become the fifth President of Kenya.

Ngirici, a former gubernatorial candidate for Kirinyaga who fell out with Ruto after current governor Anne Waiguru joined United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party also attended a luncheon organized at State House, Nairobi.

Ngirichi, who had earlier congratulated Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua for assuming new and higher offices, shared photos with Mugithi singer Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh at State House Kenya and a program for the special luncheon.

The former fierce Ruto’s defender suddenly turned into a critic after UDA seemingly embraced her competitor Waiguru for the governor’s race.

Waiguru was defending the position she has held for the past five years.

But Ngirici, an abrasive lawmaker who was all along at the forefront in the Tanga Tanga movement that was against Ruto’s closest rival Raila Odinga launched a veiled attack on the former deputy president citing disrespect, lack of democracy, and unpaid loyalty.

Today, September 13, the Ruto staunch critic shared a table with his defenders in what seems as a change of her political game as she focuses on the next section of life.

In the photos she shared on her Facebook account, Ngirici stated “Tupo site!” to mean that they were at the State House for the luncheon business.

For the last few days, the former woman representative has been lauding the victory of Ruto and his deputy while posting their photos on her social media accounts in what seems to be a change of tact.

Although she left halfway, Ngirici prides on being among the pioneers of UDA that later formed the Kenya Kwanza coalition which has formed the fifth administration of Kenya.
