State House Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei has asked Kenyans to embrace casual wear starting tomorrow, Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

In a statement shared via his official X account, Koskei urged Kenyans to embrace dress-down, stylish and presentable casual wear for the next seven days.

The directive, according, to the official is meant to amplify the Africa Youth Connekt Summit vibes which will be hosted from December 8 to December 11.

Koskei also encouraged Kenyans to show their spirit by donning a jersey from their favourite Kenyan African teams.

"Starting tomorrow until Jamhuri Day, let's embrace dress down, stylish and presentable casual wear, amplifying the Africa YouthConnekt Summit vibes we're proudly hosting from Dec. 8-11.

"Show your spirit by donning a jersey from your favourite Kenyan or African team – whether it's Athletics, Harambee Stars, Shujaa, or Malkia. Let's rock those jerseys with pride! @YouthConnektAf," Koskei said.

Hosted by the government, the YouthConnekt Africa Summit is a pan-African platform which empowers young people by enhancing their knowledge, experiences and skills.

The summit invests ideas, innovations and initiatives of the youth to make Africa progress in harnessing its demographic dividends by 2030.
