Lilian Ng’ang’a has decided to step down as the Machakos County First lady after ending her relationship with Governor Alfred Mutua.

In an Instagram post, Lilian said she decided to end the relationship two months ago in what she termed as winds of change.

“The only constant in life is change, and we must be present and aware to appreciate and embrace it,” she wrote.

Lilian has also revealed that they decided to part ways two months ago, and that they remain close friends heading to the future.

“Winds of change blew my way and two months ago, I decided to end the long term relationship with Dr Alfred Mutua. We had a good run, and I am forever grateful to God, he brought us together. We remain friends.” Lilian said.

She says she now wants to concentrate on charity work.
