Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA), in its latest review, has announced that fuel prices will remain unchanged.
The new calculations that touch on Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene were released on Tuesday, December 14.
As a result, one litre of Super Petrol will retail at Ksh127.46 in Mombasa, Ksh129.72 in Nairobi, Ksh129.24 in Nakuru, Ksh130.13 in Eldoret and Ksh130.12 in Kisumu.
A litre of Diesel, on the other hand, will be sold at Ksh108.36 in Mombasa, Ksh110.60 in Nairobi, Ksh110.43 in Nakuru, Ksh111.32 in Eldoret and Ksh111.30 in Kisumu.
A litre of Kerosene will go for Ksh101.29 in Mombasa, Ksh103.54 in Nairobi, Ksh103.39 in Nakuru, Ksh104.27 in Eldoret and Ksh104.26 in Kisumu.
The prices will be in force from December 15, 2021, to January 14, 2022.
EPRA says the prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT). "The prices are inclusive of the 8% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2018, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020," its statement reads in parts.
