Fuel prices to remain unchanged

The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has released fuel prices for the period running between August 15 and September 14, 2022.

In a statement, the regulatory body said the cost of fuel will remain unchanged for the second consecutive month.

"In accordance with Section 101(y) of the Petroleum Act 2019, Legal Notice No.196 of 2010 and Legal Notice No. 26 of 2012, the Energy & Petroleum Regulatory Authority has calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products for the period 15th August to 14th September 2022.," EPRA said on Sunday, August 14.

Notably, in Nairobi, petrol and diesel will retail at Ksh159.12 and Ksh140.00 respectively.

Kerosene will be retailing at Ksh127.94 per litre.
