A gang of four young men that operates from Kayole and Dandora was on Monday ambushed and killed in a police shootout near Shell petrol station on Kangundo Road.
Two firearms, mini-Ceska pistols, and 11 rounds of ammunition were from the shootout scene.
A police officer was also shot on the leg during the shootout and taken hospital.

Members of the public who identified one of the slain suspects said he used to operate as taxi in Kayole.
The suspects have been linked to last month's Umoja shooting and robbery at an M-Pesa shop in Ruiri Road and a supermarket raid on Katani Road.
