Former President Daniel arap Moi has been discharged from hospital following his admission 10 days ago, his Press Secretary Lee Njiru said on Thursday.
His medical team, led by his personal doctor David Silverstein, said the retired president has been given clean bill of health.
“The Moi family has expressed gratitude to all those who offered prayers and sent quick recovery,” Mr Njiru said.
Mr Njiru said the former leader will now recuperate at home.
Moi, 95, served as Kenya’s second president for 24 years, retiring in 2002.
