Ford Kenya Party has expelled two rebel MPs and nominated ward representative Cynhis citing disciplinary issues.

The party's National Executive Council on Monday, August 17, kicked out Tongaren MP Eseli Simiyu, Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi, and a Busia ward representative Cynthia Mutere.

In resolutions passed by the NEC and Ford Kenya Parliamentary Group, the party recommended the expulsions to be effected by the General Council.

The statement signed by the acting Secretary-General Millicent Abudho cautioned Ford-Kenya members and supporters not to undertake or engage with the trio on any party matters.

The party organs also resolved to convene the General Council and the National Delegates Congress before the end of the year.
