Five schools in Kiminini get CDF buses

Learners in several schools located in Kiminini Constituency are set to receive new buses.

On Monday, Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa revealed that he had used funds from the National Government Constituency Fund to purchase six school buses in a bid to provide affordable transport for learners and the local community.

"Kiminini National Government Constituency Development Fund has procured and scheduled to deliver buses for; Kiungani Secondary School of Nabiswa ward, SA Hilario Wekhonye Secondary School of Kiminini Ward, Friends School Kabuyefwe Girls of Sikhendu Ward, St John' s Girls of Sirende Ward, Teresa' s Bikeke Girls of Sirende Ward and St Francis Mitoni Mitatu High school of Waitaluk Ward," Wamalwa said on his Facebook page.

The MP said since he was elected, 15 schools have received new buses in projects funded by the NGCDF.
