Comedian Eric Omondi has appeared in court to show his support to businessman Jimi Wajingi who is facing a Ksh56M land fraud case.

Speaking to K24 Digital Omondi expressed his unwavering support to the presidential hopeful saying he is a threat to other presidential candidates.

"I have spoken to him and he appears to be in a jovial mood. We are aware that the charges against him are a witchhunt by the government," Omondi lamented.

Omondi added that Wajingi's arrest shows that his campaign team is doing a great job.

"People are scared and panicking of Wajingi; that's why he is in court. It means we have something to offer to Kenyans" he claimed.

Wanjigi was arrested yesterday after Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi issued a warrant of arrest against him.
