Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua were Sunday gifted a State House model by youth at a rally in Narok County.
Raila, who could not hide his joy, asked Karua to join him on stage to receive the gift.
"Hawa vijana wamenipatia State House. Wamesema leo hii kwamba hii itakuwa maskani yangu (These youth have given me the State House. They have said this will be my home)," he said.
Raila and his running mate were in Narok for a series of political rallies.
Raila promises youth jobs
During the main rally at Ole Ntimama Stadium in Narok town, Raila promised to create jobs for thousands of graduates who have resorted to manual jobs.
Raila spoke about eating at a Nairobi fish joint owned by graduates, saying he'll create deserving jobs for graduates.
"When we form government, we will create jobs for the graduates and those with talents, we will put them on Recognition of Prior Learning program," he said.
