Machakos County Assembly Speaker Florence Muoti Mwangangi, who is the mother to Health Cabinet Administrative Secretary (CAS), Mercy Mwangangi, has gone into self-quarantine after testing positive for coronavirus.
Mrs Mwangangi revealed she tested positive nine days ago after one of her colleagues exhibited coronavirus symptoms.

She said that she has been taking all the necessary precautions, and warned Kenyans to be careful to avoid contracting the disease.
Among the signs she got were general body weakness, fatigue, lack of appetite, body aches, and dizziness among others.
She said that she has been experiencing different symptoms each day but assured those suffering the disease that it is beatable.
