President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday, June 6 extended the dusk-to-dawn curfew by 30 days.

Addressing the Nation from State House-Nairobi, the president directed that new time guidelines for the effecting of the curfew be adopted beginning Sunday June 7.

From June 7, the national curfew will be implemented between 9pm and 4am, unlike previously when it was effected between 7pm and 45am.

This, the president said, will help combat the spread of COVID-19 in the country, and at the same time, allow Kenyans to have full-day work shifts.
