There is drama and confusion at Kisumu Central Police station after an OCS who was transferred two weeks ago has vowed to stay put.

The station now has two OCSs who are scrambling to attend to clients.

Thomas Thembara who was moved to Uasin Gishu county has allegedly refused to pave way for Paul Muturi who should be the new OCS at the station.

According to an officer who sought anonymity, the duo is also scrambling for the OCS seat and other office equipment.

"The officer has refused to go and insists that he must remain here. It's drama daily for the past two weeks," the officer told K24 Digital.

Nyanza Regional Police Commander Karanja Muiruri was however unavailable for comment.
