Dancing nurse offered 3-day Mombasa tour

A tour and travel company has offered dancing nurse, Lukresia Robai a three-day trip to Mombasa following a viral video that warmed the hearts of netizens.

In the video awash with netizens' comments, Robai, a student nurse at a local medical institution, is seen dancing and entertaining a child seated on a hospital bed.

The video gained traction attracting notable names to reward the student for the warm gesture towards the child.

Among them include, Bonfire CEO Simon Kabu who has offered to reward her with a three-day trip to Mombasa.

Taking to his social media, the controversial businessman lauded the nurse for entertaining the sick child and pledged to sponsor her trip.

"Looking for this nurse for her to get a 3-day Mombasa package courtesy of @bonfireadventures. If you know her, let her WhatsApp or call 0711222444," the post reads in parts.

"We should respect our medical practitioners; nurses, Clinical officers, Doctors, pharmacists, physiologists, nutritionists, and many others."

Natembeya offers nurse scholarship

The latest comes barely days after Tranz Nzoia Governor George Natembeya offered to clear Robai's tuition fees and ensure she is absorbed at the hospital as a reward for her dedication to serve.

"This evening I hosted paediatric nurse Elizabeth Robai Lukelesia a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student caught in a viral clip entertaining a recuperating child at Kitale level IV hospital Ward 8," Natembeya stated.

"I have pledged to offset her tuition fees for the remaining period of her studies, further ensure she gets internship and finally be absorbed to serve as a paediatric nurse. Congratulations Elizabeth Robai your effort and dedication have paid off,"

Nurse speaks on video

The 22-year-old recently intimated that she never imagined that the video would be her breakthrough, she further disclosed that her drive to serve the sick stems from her dream to become a medical practitioner and look after sick people.

"I have always wanted to be a medical practitioner to take care of the sick. I have never thought of anything else. The video went viral after two hours. It is beautiful when you trend for nice things and positive vibes," she stated.

"I am an orphan, I lost my mum in form 3. I do not know my dad. I wish my mom was here to see how my life has turned out. It feels good to be part of people's lives. When you are a medic, you are dealing with life so you have to be creative," she added.
