A middle-aged woman in Kisoko Nambale, Sub County, Busia County is seeking justice after her two daughters were allegedly defiled by a man well known to her.

Kenneth Omutoko, an employee of Busia County Government and the alleged lover to the victims’ mother reportedly preyed on the minors aged five and 10 years while she was at her place of work.

The mother took them to Nambale Health Centre after they disclosed the ordeal they underwent to her and afterwards reported the matter to Nambale Police station.

She described the defiler as her lover noting they have been living together and he even assisted her to secure her current job.

However, Omutoko, a village administrator at the County government allegedly continues to walk scot-free issuing threats to her and other members of the public willing to assist her access justice.

“I have reported the matter to the police but they are yet to take action,’’ she said.

Speaking over the incident, Busia County Children Officer Esther Lusinge has called on the public to collaborate with all government entities to curb defilement cases most of which, she says, are perpetrated by close family members.

Lusinge called on the government to set up rescue centres to protect endangered children.
