A Nairobi court has ordered Diana Marua to pull down a video she posted on YouTube accusing Willy Paul of attempting to rape her about five years ago.

In a court document posted by the musician on Instagram on Wednesday, Diana and any other person who might have shared the video were ordered to delete it with immediate effect.

"... any other person spreading the video is hereby restrained by interim injunctive order of the court from defaming, spreading and continuing to defame the defendant pending the hearing and the determination of the suit," a court document seen by K24 Digital read in part.

Willy Paul on Instagram said: "Breaking news: pull down the defamatory videos and posts!! Truth, the sun and the moon can never be hidden long.

"If you spend your time hoping someone will suffer the consequences for what they did to your heart, then you're allowing them to hurt you a second time in your mind.

"The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice...

"The accusations labelled against me have caused me untold suffering, financial loss and my dignity as a father, the politics in the industry are dirty and it hurts me because it's from people I regarded as a family.

"I do not wish to say further, the innocent cry to God and He surely listens."
