Congolese man suspected of k*****g Nairobi lawyer Elizabeth Koki to be arraigned today

The slain Nairobi-based lawyer, Elizabeth Koki, and Congolese man, Christian Kadima, who is suspected to have killed her.

A Congolese national who allegedly killed his lover in Syokimau Machakos County will be arraigned on Monday.

Mediamax Digital has established that Christian Kadima Mwambay will be arraigned at the Mavoko Law Courts over the death of city-based lawyer, Elizabeth Koki.

A detective privy to the matter said that police will seek to detain the murder suspect for more days as the investigation continues.

“Police want him detained in lawful custody for more days as the investigations go on,” the detective who spoke in confidence said.

Mr Kadima is also wanted in South Africa and Dubai to answer to assault charges.

The foreign national jetted into the country in September 2017 after he fled South Africa where he has an active case.

Mediamax Digital has established that Kadima had in several occasions assaulted the deceased who had initially threatened to take him to court.

In an early interview with People Daily, Kevin Muchiri who represents two women whom the suspect had assaulted before fleeing South Africa said all they wanted was justice.

“I believe that everyone who has suffered in the hands of this man will get justice,” he said.
