TV comedian Davis Mwabili, popularly known as Inspector Mwala, has been released on a police cash bail of Sh40,000 awaiting being arraigned tomorrow to face murder charges.
This is after he was booked at Rabai Police Station on Monday night, where he was interrogated following an accident that left a pedestrian dead.
Rabai sub-county police commander David Maina said Mwala (pictured) had been released on police cash bail awaiting completion of investigations into the allegations of causing death by dangerous driving.
The police boss said the suspect is likely to face another count of driving while drunk.
Maina said the accused veered off the road and hit Samuel Mwaki at Kwa Randi area in the 11 pm accident.
