Police were forced to fire tear gas after futile attempts by Ruto to calm the crowd.
DP Ruto accused rivalries of hiring goons to disrupt his tour by throwing stones at his convey.
We must get rid of the leaders who hire young people to throw stones," he stated.
He however enumerated the development projects that the Jubilee administration has initiated in Kisumu county.
