A CCTV footage has emerged showing how the brother of a man shot 36 times by unknown gunmen was abducted in unclear circumstances.

Police reports indicate that an unknown number of gunmen, who were aboard two vehicles, cornered Kevin Odhiambo along Gesora road in Utawala and shot him 36 times at around 1:00 pm on Friday, September 23.

The mystery surrounding Kevin's killing deepened after it emerged that the gunmen later raided his brother's residence at Maji Mazuri area in Mwiki and abducted him.

They had earlier driven off with a woman who was in the company of the deceased before abandoning her in Fedha estate unhurt.

In the footage seen by K24 Digital, the gunmen wearing bulletproof jackets are seen harassing Alfred Odhiambo with one asking him to produce a firearm.

The assailants are said to have driven off with Alfred after the confrontation. He is still missing.

Nairobi region police commander James Mugera said they were yet to establish the motive of the attack and the identity of the gunmen.

The body of Kevin was moved to City Mortuary as investigations continue.
