A middle-aged man was on Thursday, September 26, arraigned at the Makadara Law Courts for allegedly carjacking and robbing a city motorist of his vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, and a title deed.

Benson Kyalo Kisavi and other suspects, who were not in court, allegedly committed the offences on diverse dates between December 8 and December 11, 2018.

The suspects are said to have carjacked the victim [name withheld] at gun point at Industrial Area in Nairobi, robbed him off his title deed and forcefully took him to a neighbouring county, where they locked him up in a room and sodomised him for days.

The court was told that the suspects took turns to sexually assault their victim.

Kisavi, who was arrested on Thursday, September 19, 2019, denied the charges, and is set to know whether he will be granted bail on Friday, September 27.

The prosecution objected to the release of Kisavi on cash bail, arguing he would interfere with witnesses, or even kill them.
