Burglars on Sunday morning carted away crucial documents and laptops after breaking into the office of the Nairobi County Assembly Clerk, Jacob Ngwele.

A statement from City Hall said the office was allegedly broken into by suspected Nairobi County Assembly workers.

The burglary comes just days after the ouster of the Nairobi County Assembly Majority Leader Abdi Guyo.

Following the burglary, several Nairobi ward reps led by new Majority Leader Mark Ndung’u, will address the press over the recent developments.
