"She went missing on April 26, shortly after going to her room to sleep. When I tried to get to the house she was nowhere," her mother Posed Rael Malakwen said.

The missing student has never reported to school even as the schools were opened for the new term. The parents say they suspect one of the bodaboda riders has eloped with the minor.

The student's parents pleading for help

"We have reported the matter to Mberere police post in Tinderet and we are waiting for the authorities to commence the search. A bodaboda guy has been trying to woo the school going children not once and he remains the main suspect," her father Geoffry Malakwen said.

The parents have questioned and blamed how the administration was hesitant in helping them get attended to over their concerns about the lost child.

The family now wants anyone with information about their daughter to report to any police station to help them find her.
