Kimilili Member of Parliament (MP) Didmus Barasa now wants police to arrest Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga for "using government vehicles".
Barasa claims Raila is moving around with 22 government vehicles.
"Those who are saying I made a mistake by using CDF vehicle should be informed that I'm an elected Member of Parliament. Raila has not been elected, he swore himself in, he is a criminal and he is using 22 government vehicles.
"Before you arrest this son (Barasa) of a widow, you should arrest Raila first," Barasa said when he addressed a political rally in Western Kenya on Thursday.
Barasa accused of using NG-CDF
Barasa was accused of branding a NG-CDF vehicle with United Democratic Alliance (UDA) number colors.
"The contingent stormed the homestead following extensive investigations and towed the vehicle to Kimilili police station and later to Bungoma before heading to Nairobi," Kimilili sub-county police boss Mwita Maroa told the media on Wednesday.
Maroa said that the vehicle had a fake number plate KBS 709D after its original registration number GK948J was removed.
The MP has since recorded a statement regarding the matter.
