A section of Outering Road in Nairobi, which links Mombasa Road to Thika Superhighway, will be closed on Sunday, August 23 to allow the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) install a footbridge.
KURA says the busy road will be closed at Nairobi River area between 8am and 2pm.
“Thika [Road]-bound traffic (sic) are requested to use Mutarakwa Road-Komarock Road to join Outering Road at Kariobangi roundabout, whereas Nairobi [CBD]-bound traffic (sic) are advised to use Jogoo Road and Mumias [South] Road,” said KURA in their statement.
“We apologise for the inconvenience that may be caused as we endeavour to provide efficient urban network,” added the roads agency in their statement whose undersigned is the Director-General Eng. Silas Kinoti.
