7 dead as Covid-19 infections hit 38,173 in Kenya: Kagwe

Kenya's Covid-19 deaths on Thursday rose to 718 after 7 more patients succumbed to the virus.

The number of Covid-19 deaths also increased to 38,173 after 183 people tested positive for the virus from a sample size of 4,700.

So far, the Ministry of Health has tested 552,646 since the first case was detected six months ago.

The majority of the new infections, 170, are Kenyans while 17 are foreigners.

Nairobi had the most cases with 58 cases followed by Mombasa with 22.
