Sixteen teenagers from Siaya Town were on Thursday, December 24 arrested while binging on alcohol and bhang at a house party.
The teenagers aged between 14 and 17 years comprised five girls and 11 boys, police said.
Siaya County Police Commander Francis Kooli told K24 Digital that the party was organised by a 21-year-old male Siaya resident, who is at large.
A concerned parent informed police about the party, prompting an afternoon raid, which led to the arrests.
Bottles of alcohol and several rolls of bhang were found at the party venue.
