Four streetboys arraigned at the Milimani Law Courts on Friday denied the charge of being found in possession of a drug used to stupefy their victims before robbing them.

The suspects, Erick Mulanda, Erick Mwangi, Samson Mbori and Stephen Ngugi, were presented before Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi.

The four were arrested on Wednesday, October 9, on Tom Mboya Street in possession of two syringes and the drug which is in liquid form.

The court heard that the suspects accosted and injected their victims with the drug before stealing from them.

Magistrate Andayi released the suspects on Ksh20, 000 cash bail each with an alternative of a Ksh100, 000 bond each.

Two of the suspects said they couldn’t post the bail, and pleaded with the magistrate to set them free. Their request was rejected.

The matter will be mentioned on October 25.
