A 26-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly fatally beating up his father over milk at Kurpanyat village in Kericho County.

Kurpanyat Assistant Chief David Kimeto claimed the duo were drunk and physically fought after the son accused his father of taking all the milk in the house.

Kimeto said Samuel Kipngetich Rotich succumbed to his injuries at the Litein Hospital where he was taken after the fight with his son, Philemon Kipngeno Ngetich.

Police officers who arrested Ngetich early Sunday morning took him to Litein Police Station pending his arraignment on Monday.
