The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers on Thursday, arrested 14 people in Naivasha, who were found weeding a one acre bhang farm at Kedong Ranch.

The illegal crop, valued at Ksh27 million, was destroyed by a multi-agency team comprising anti-narcotic detectives, police and DCI officers.

The suspects, who were taken into custody, are awaiting legal action.

“Their arrest followed a tip-off from members of the public, who gave information about the farm, through our toll-free line 0800 722 203,” said the DCI on Twitter.
