How exactly do you give assurances to your pregnant wife, and more so, a woman you truly love and adore? Not only do you love her, but she is carrying your child.

I know, every pregnancy journey is different and lots of emotions revolve around the 9 months. For some, this is a walk in the park and nothing drastic is affected in their life.

For other women, this is a vulnerable moment where they need their partner close to them more than ever.

Everyone, and more especially women want to be certain that they are the only one except, of course, those that willingly became side chicks.

Even then, ladies still want to be reassured that the terms they entered into the relationship or situations have not changed.

People want to feel special not just at the beginning but for the entire duration of the relationship, a duration which is often hoped would be endless, this also includes pregnancy.

So how exactly can you give assurance to your girlfriend or the woman in your life?

One thing to note is you do not need billions for any of these actions to work. They include;

1. Reassure her that she’s beautiful

Yes, her beauty drew you in. The alignment of her eyes and nose and lips and the way her smile lit something inside you and made your heart skip a bit, right? It all made you die for her. And it wasn’t until you got here that you felt alive again.

Never let her forget this, even with many changes involved in pregnancy. You need to consistently reassure her that she’s still beautiful even with her growing bump and nothing has stopped you from seeing how pretty she is.

The problem is that guys often forget this. As a man, you become numb to the beauty your partner is.

Don’t be that guy who forgets to melt at the terrific beauty he’s been blessed with. Affirm yourself by remembering how lucky you are and let her know about it. Other guys may say it, but she needs it for you.

2. Assure her that she’s the only one

Reassurance in any relationship works like magic, just look her in the eye, and tell her she’s the only one.

Hold her face in your hands as you say so. Be close enough for your voice to create gentle echoes in her heart and spread into every tiny bit of her consciousness.

Especially during her pregnancy, it's good for her to be reassured that despite how rough life can get sometimes, even with the hormonal changes, she’s still the one you with whom you want to find calmness, the one with whom, and in whose arms you want to enjoy.

And mean it every time you say it.

3. Show it

Acts of love and service to her are reassuring enough, too, without having to say a word.

You can take her for her prenatal visits. You can also understand her cravings and offer a lending hand where need be. For every action that you perform, it confirms your love for her, do not hesitate to do them. The goal is never to let her forget, never to let things get into doubt.

Run relentlessly with that goal.

4.  Assure her with gifts

Okay, you may think it takes you to have billions in your account, but you actually do not need a Porsche before to impress your girl.

Little gifts, grand gifts, and everyone you give within your means to please your girl, it's assurance that you have her in your mind and that she’s special.

5.  Reassure her of the future

Of course, the baby is on its way, if you hadn't planned much about your future together, then this is a great time to take the necessary steps.

You need to make her understand that this is not just about the here and now.

Sure, everyone wants to live in the moment and it’s good not to overthink things, but she also needs reassurances that the future is secure and she’s not just wasting her today with you.

Convince her that you will take care of the baby and her needs too. Even if you're uncertain about anything, show that you have everything handled. Of course, you do not need to rob a bank, just be candid and genuine enough about your intentions and the rest will fall into place.
