The burden of paying the upkeep for several children sired out of wedlock is now taking a toll on an MP from Nyanza region.

Sources from Parliament have intimated that the MP's payslip reads almost nil as all his money goes to the upkeep of more than six children sired with various women out of wedlock.

The MP has devised survival tricks, including seeking donations from friends for imaginary 'harambees' in his constituency while the money ends up in his pocket.
