Celebrities and entertainers, in general, were among the most affected people with the imposing of the nationwide dusk-to-dawn curfew.

This is due to the fact that they depended on night parties and nightclubs to earn a living through their performances.

Now that President Uhuru Kenyatta lifted the curfew, most of these entertainers can now take a sigh of relief as there is hope that they can now start earning a living once again.

Since the announcement of the reopening of the country, most of these entertainers have taken to social media to react to the good news.

Here is how some of the entertainers reacted to the lifting of the curfew.

Comedian Jalang'o reacted to the news by informing his fans that his Luo Festival that was previously cancelled due to the strict measures of put curb the spread of Covid-19, will now be back. He said that he is doing to make sure that the event is even better than it was previously planned.

"Luo festival loading!!! Remember your ticket is valid!! Now it's time to do it bigger than before," Jalang'o wrote on his Instagram page.

Singer Akothee on the other end posted a video of his lover, Nelly Oaks dancing noting that now that the curfew has been lifted, it is time for them to make some noise in the streets.

"You will migrate from these streets it's me & @nellyoaks...

she captioned the video.

On her part, Tanasha Donna just shared a photo of her TV with a chyron saying: Breaking News: No More Curfew"

She captioned the photo with an "ISSA WRAPPPPPP!!! quote.

While rapper Khaligraph Jones who has been against the curfew for a very long time now posted a video on Instagram celebrating the lifting of the curfew.

He captioned the video saying: "Shangwe na vigelegele , Curfew imeisha (It's a joy that the curfew has been lifted), Happy Mashujaa Day."
