Wema Sepetu collapses during her party, rushed to hospital

Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu is recovering at her Dar es Salaam home after she collapsed last Sunday while celebrating her 31st birthday.

Wema passed out suddenly as she greeted and mingled with close friends and relatives, who attended the party held at her sister’s house in Mbezi Beach in Dar es Salaam.

The actress’ sister, Nuru Sepetu, called an ambulance and rushed Wema to a Dar es Salaam hospital.

“Doctors discovered high blood pressure was responsible for her fainting,” an informant told Global Publishers.

Wema was treated and discharged, and is currently recovering at home.
